The Association has always been concerned with all the four varieties of Belgian Shepherd Groenendael (long haired black), Tervueren (long haired, all shades of red , fawn and grey with black mask and overlay), Malinois (short haired, colour as Tervueren) and Laekenois (wirehaired, reddish fawn with black shading). The Association is involved in aspects of showing, working and also runs an active Breed Rescue Service looking after the welfare of all varieties. Offers of assistance and donations are always welcome.
BSDA of GB Annual Awards
The Association's Annual Awards are awarded at the AGM in March/April and cover the period January 1st - December 31st of the preceding year. They are a record of success and historical importance to the breed - it is very interesting to look back on who has won awards in the past.
Members are invited to submit claims for 2016 by 12th March 2017 to Steve Rowe, 6 Brampton Close, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, SS0 0DY or by email to [email protected]
Points can be claimed as indicated in the attached form - Please set out your results as the example and do not forget to state the award claimed. Only Championship and Open shows can be included (i.e. no Limited shows, including BSDA Limited Obedience).
